A nurse in scrubs opens a smart cooler of drinks and snacks in a hospital break room at night.

Feeding night shifts when the cafeteria is closed

When the cafeteria is closed, a self-serve market is food and drinks in the building, paid by card or phone, with no one from the hospital running it. It is the option we place for night shifts and visitors.

What is in reach

We stock what sells in that building and we set the mix with you. Drinks and snacks are the ordinary core, chilled and ambient together in Classic and in the cooler side of a larger setup. Fresh food is available on request. We do not promise a hot line, a made-to-order meal, or a clinical diet menu. If the night shift needs a hot meal from a kitchen, that is the cafeteria's job when it is open.

People tap a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or 365Pay. No cash, so there is no cash box in the lobby. No staff has to badge in and unlock a closet of snacks. Visitors use the same machine the nurses use, unless you place a second one on a staff floor. Placement is part of the visit.

Are smart fridges allowed in hospitals

We place them where the hospital lets us place them, after a visit. We are not the authority on your infection-control rules or your vendor-credentialing brochure. Open Market is the format named for hospitals. Classic and Digital are the smaller cabinets when a floor cannot take a wall. Sizes are in the format comparison.

Power and signal get checked before a rendering. It plugs into standard wall outlets. Classic uses two. No electrical work is needed. The machines run on built-in cellular. No Wi-Fi is needed. The rendering is free. If the only power is an emergency circuit, we stop there.

Who keeps it fit for a night shift

We restock, and we can do it after hours so a pallet is not in a corridor at shift change. Remote monitoring shows what ran out overnight. Service is within 1 to 2 days in Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire.

A market with steady traffic is the one that stays stocked in a useful way. A clinic wing that empties at 5 may not be the right wall. A lobby that never really empties might be. We say so after we see it. There is no upfront cost. We carry liability insurance. A certificate is available on request. Sales reports are available on request. One agreement can cover more than one campus building.

Book the visit, and we'll tell you if the floor is a fit. Nothing is installed on the visit. You get a free rendering of the format in that spot, then you decide. Each floor is still its own visit, even when one agreement covers more than one building. Your hospital staff do not order the product, count the shelves, or run a register.
