Snacks in a medical or dental office
A vending cabinet can belong in a dental or medical office when staff and patients will use it and the front desk will not have to run it. A waiting room usually gets a locked smart cooler. An open wall of shelves is the wrong shape for that room.
In a waiting room
There is no clerk and no cash drawer. Someone taps a card or phone, takes a drink or a snack, and leaves. We do not have a decibel number for the compressor, so we will not invent one. You are not adding a person who calls out orders in the waiting room.
Classic is a single cabinet for a break room or a back hall. Digital is taller, with a screen. A small waiting room often cannot spare that depth in the walking path. We measure before we recommend. Open Market, with a kiosk and a wall, is a lot of fixture for a four-chair practice. Sizes are in the format comparison.
What we stock
We stock what sells and we work with you on the mix. A pediatric dental office and an oral surgery suite should not be forced into the same facings. Remote inventory tells us what sits. If something does not move, it should not keep its place out of habit. We restock after hours when the chairs are empty, which is the point of doing this without borrowing your assistants. Fresh food is available on request.
Patients and staff use the same payment methods as every other format: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, 365Pay. No cash for the office manager to reconcile. If a charge looks wrong, email hello@smartvendingpros.com. We answer that as a service issue, within 1 to 2 days, in Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire.
When to say no
Say no when the schedule is thin. Steady daily traffic is the requirement, and a practice open three half-days a week may not meet it. We don't publish a patient-per-day minimum. The visit is the test. We tell you if the room is not a fit.
Say no when the only spot blocks a corridor or the accessible route. Digital sticks out farther than Classic. Say no when the only power is a circuit you already don't trust. It plugs into standard wall outlets. Classic uses two. No electrical work is needed. The machines run on built-in cellular. No Wi-Fi is needed. There is no upfront equipment cost.
What the office still controls
You control whether we are invited, where we are allowed to stand the cabinet, and the mix you will not accept. We control the equipment, the fill and the service. We carry liability insurance. A certificate is available on request. Several offices under one group can share one agreement, and each suite is still visited on its own. High-level sales reports are available on request, which is usually more useful to a multi-site manager than to a single front desk.
If you want this in a waiting room, start with the measurement. We come to the office, check power and signal, and send the rendering free. Then you decide.
